Registration Information:

To sign up for one of our classes listed below, stop by our shop, or call us at 607-973-2885. Class fees must be paid in full at the time of registration and supply lists will be available when you register. We offer a discount of 15% for all class materials that are purchased at Wooly Minded. We only issue refunds if we need to cancel a class. CLASSES & GROUPS – JULY & AUGUST 2008

Knitting Basics

Complete novices will learn to how hold needles and yarn, cast on, make the knit and purl stitches, and bind off. Taking it at your own pace, you will start working on a small project, and gain the confidence to move on to bigger things. Lessons can be given almost any time – just call in to make an appointment.

Cost: Individual – $30/2-hour session
Or come with a friend, a child or a parent – $40/2-hour session

Make Your Own Class

Have you forgotten everything you ever knew about knitting? Do you need some one-on-one help with a project? Do you want to learn the skills from a class but the times are inconvenient? Simply call in to make an appointment and we will do what we can to help.

Cost: $15/1-hour session

Kid's Knitting Camp

If you are between 8 and 12 years old come and spend 3 mornings learning everything you want to know about knitting:

learn to knit and purl and make your first project
make your own needles
spin and dye your own yarn
make friends with other knitting kids

Dates: July 29-31, 10:00 am - Noon

Cost: $90 – includes all supplies

Sock of the Month Club

Create a full year’s worth of fabulous footwear as we meet once a month to work on a different sock. Although no formal instruction will be given you will be guided through the range of techniques covered by the patterns, so have no fear!

Buy your first pattern for $5.00, bring your completed socks to the next meeting and your next pattern is free. 15% off all materials purchased during the meeting.

Dates: 1st Tuesday of each month, 7:00 - 9:00 pm

Wilma's Woolies

Wooly Minded and the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Knitters Guild have teamed up to bring you Wilma’s Woolies. Bring a project and sit and knit. Anyone who enjoys knitting or crochet is welcome – all levels from beginner to master. Receive a 15% discount on any supplies you buy during the meeting.

Dates: Every Wednesday, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Wilma's Woolies After Dark

Start winding down for the weekend with Wilma and friends. Come join us to knit or crochet and chat (or just chat!). Receive a 15% discount on any supplies you buy during the meeting.

Dates: Every Thursday, 5:00 - 8:00 pm

Teen Knitting Club

We know you’re out there all you knitting teens! So come to Wooly Minded to get to know each other. Bring a project you are working on or start a new one. This is not a class, and won’t cost you anything, but we will be on hand to straighten out any knitting problems. Receive a 15% discount on any supplies you buy during the meeting.
